We have always been drawn to beautiful things objects, textiles, art, and the everyday details that give life meaning. What began as personal paths in design, fashion, and interiors has become a shared vision: to create a home for families that values longevity, quality, and warmth over excess. Parenthood opened our eyes to the need for pieces that grow with a child but also live beautifully in the wider home. We wanted furniture and objects that could withstand the mess of everyday life while still feeling considered and timeless.

Mova was born from that frustration and from a belief that less is more. We wanted to offer a one-stop platform where parents and design lovers alike could find long-lasting, sustainable products that are both practical and inspiring. For us, Mova is more than a business. Created by two founders who believe design should feel both refined and real.

Mova began as a conversation between two friends- one navigating life with a toddler and a baby on the way, the other raising her girls, aged one and three. Between night feeds, school runs, and careers in retail, design, and interiors, the idea slowly took shape. What started as a dream, quite literally, turned into something we couldn't ignore.

We both wanted the same thing: a home that felt warm and lived in, with furniture that could grow with our children and still belong in the wider home. We also recognised the chance to bring in beautiful international brands that weren't easily accessible locally, and to place them alongside our own collection. From there, Mova became our shared vision a brand built on good design and lasting quality, with pieces that grow alongside the families who use them.

For us, Mova is more than a business. It's the balance of raising families and building something of our own. It's imperfect, full of grit and love, and made to last just like the homes we're shaping.
